A Big Dislike

Okay guys, I'm afraid we are shutting down Fun Buttons and Threads and That is Suspiciously Delicious and opening a brand new website. I'll say something. It's going to be awesome and then awesomer than both Fun Buttons and Threads and That is Suspiciously Delicious. It's going to have more variety and better recipes than That is Suspiciously Delicious and a lot more than sewing than Fun Buttons and Threads. I know it's a big shame, but it is hard to balance both blogs.

We well have all the previous recipes and sewing projects on our brand new site. So that is a good thing. Now here is our new website there is nothing on it yet. I would like to import all things From Fun Buttons and Threads and That is Suspiciously Delicious, but first I need to get my logo first and actually start this website properly. Anyway here is the link to the other website.
We will still keep up both Fun Buttons and Threads and That is Suspiciously Delicious  and the Twitter that we hardly used because we were on vacation and didn't have tutorials at the time for you guys to look like.

I wish you guys the best rest of summer vacation. Many thanks for keeping this blog alive and a great place for tutorials

Water Bottle Holder

Well I have this very annoying problem with my bike. I can't get a water cage on it since it is in a woman's cut. Now here is my lovely bike:

You see the problem? It was very irritating problem until I found this tutorial! It was such a great idea! I knew it was going to work, but then I made the buttons to close to each other.

Then this part was to close to the other part.

Then I couldn't attach it, so this is what I ended up doing.

Well I hope you enjoy that! Although, throughout the tutorial the creator wanted to use tissue paper, but I just wanted to let you know that it didn't and it came out perfectly fine! Click here for the tutorial. And I strongly suggest you make your buttons really far apart!

Sew Much Stuff

Ok, I'm sorry I just can't pass up this opportunity. I have to show you. Recently, I got whole bunch of new sewing things (as you can tell I was extremely low on fabric. Kept on using my scrap fabric) and I just wanted to show you.

The first thing I got was 2 limited fabrics from the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Let me explain. I was in London for vacation, and I decided to go to the Quilting Museum to see what it was like. They had quilts that dated back to the 1700s (I think). So at the end there was lots of fabrics and since I was extremely low I needed some, so I choose 2 fabrics. If you are in London, why don't you see the exhibit. Click here to see it. It only runs through March 20-July 4 2010. Also if you want some of there fabrics and want to buy them online, click here to buy fabrics online. You can also buy them squares for quilting (but only in British Pounds e.g. £. All fabrics are in British Pounds).

The next thing I got (from the Victoria and Albert Museum) was a I new pincushion heart. My tomato is starting to get old.
Then I got a brand new pair of scissors (from the Victoria and Albert Museum) for cutting thread.

The last thing I got from the Victoria and Albert Museum, was a small rottery board with a ruler.
Now the rest of things, are from America NOT from the UK.
So I got A couple of fabrics from Quick Cuts. They are very bright and funky!
Then I got a new tool to make straps easily.
Then 3 new patterns.
I got some more fabric, but this time it is “dog” related.
I got some more fabric.
Another sewing pattern.
I got 3 rolls of fabric, which were on sale.
Two pollyester elastic bands.
The last thing I got was a ironing board with a cutting board on the other side, along with a ruler.

Well that is it! Check out my Vanilla Cupcakes here, which are own my cooking blog... That is Suspiciously Delicious! Click here!
